Lithium batteries rely on the movement of lithium ions between the positive and negative electrodes to function. During charging, lithium ions are released from the positive electrode material, transported to the negative electrode through the electrolyte, and embedded into the negative electrode material; During discharge, lithium ions are released from the negative electrode material and transported back to the positive electrode material through the electrolyte. During this process, electrons are transmitted through external circuits to achieve the storage and release of electrical energy.
